I have been sitting on this blog dream for a little over a year now. I have a passion for creating narratives that encourage others and a deep-rooted desire to do that through words. A blog just felt right.

Here's the thing. I didn't want this to be another blog about travel, or fashion, or my favorite products. You may see some of that here, but that is most certainly not the main purpose of this community.

 

This is a place to find words that will inspire you on your way. A place that embraces failure as a necessary step towards growth. A place of complete vulnerability.

So, why blooming? I have learned that in life, we are continually becoming. Life is about this process. It's about growth.

 

It’s changing. It’s stretching. It’s tearing. It’s building. It’s moving. It’s progressing. It’s failing. It’s overcoming. 

 

That’s a beautiful thing. 

 

And we forget that.

 

We get so caught up in the right major, the right job, the right career path, the right internship, the right GPA, the right future. The right tomorrow. 

 

What about today? What about how far we have come? How we have grown? How we will continue to grow?

 

We are becoming. We may not have it all figured out, but in the meantime, we can take great joy in the process of blooming.  

 

Let’s continue to challenge ourselves. To seek more than the first right answer. To iterate and iterate and iterate. To transform. To embrace the meantime.

 

All the while, let’s bloom.
